I didn’t care about budgets.
My parents run an accounting firm, so numbers and financial statements were always around—but I was drawn to something else. I found my home in writing, art, and spirituality. I followed a path of deep feeling, meaning, and connection. While they were crunching numbers, I was journaling my thoughts, painting what I felt, and learning to listen to that still small voice within.
For a long time, I thought those worlds—spiritual and practical, soulful and structured—just didn’t mix. I thought numbers were rigid, and creativity was free. I thought spreadsheets lived in a different universe than intuition.
But life (and healing) has shown me otherwise.
As I grew—personally, professionally, and spiritually—I started to see that money is just another language. It’s a form of energy, a tool that reflects our values, priorities, fears, and hopes. It’s not separate from our soul work—it’s deeply connected to it.
And when we treat it that way, everything shifts.
As a certified coach and someone who’s worked in creative fields, I’ve developed a unique approach to budgeting. I call it Neshama & Numbers—a way to bring warmth, purpose, and even love to the numbers in your life.
It’s budgeting that blends structure with soul, planning with vision, and spreadsheets with spirit.

Neshama & Numbers was born from my own journey of healing and integration. It’s for the spiritual seeker who wants to feel grounded. For the artist who wants to feel safe. For the dreamer who’s ready to make those dreams real.
Because here’s what I know:
You can be spiritual and financially organized.
You can be creative and still make a plan.
You can open a spreadsheet and feel calm—not dread.
This is about more than numbers.
It’s about self-worth.
It’s about clarity.
It’s about building a container for your dreams.
So if you’ve ever felt like budgeting isn’t for you, or like you need to choose between soul and structure, I invite you to try a new way. One that honors both.
Because when we bring soul to our spreadsheets, we bring our full selves to life.
Neshama & Numbers isn’t just a method—it’s a movement.
Let’s turn your budget into a blessing.

Finding My Voice: A Writer’s Journey
By Mindy Morasha Rubenstein I began this journey as a writer before I knew exactly what I was writing about. I was the “lost child” in my family, growing up in chaos, and I didn’t know how to rescue others — but I did know I had a voice. I would later discover that writing…
The Hidden Abuse No One Talks About
I don’t have any bruises or scars, so you’d never know. What actually constitutes emotional or financial abuse can be so subtle. For nearly three decades, I’ve lived in a nearly constant state of confusion, moving between being triggered by emotional abandonment and wondering if I was the one who was crazy. Maybe at times…

Yom Kippur: Science & Spirit
higher purpose Yom Kippur is called the holiest day of the year. But what does holy really mean? In Hebrew, the word is קֹדֶשׁ (kodesh), from the root קדש which means “set apart.” Something holy is separated from the ordinary so it can be dedicated to a higher purpose. Shabbat is holy because it is…
