The Story of SoulBites: From My Kitchen to Yours


A Simple Idea That Took Off

It started with a simple idea—gluten-free cookies I could actually enjoy. I’ve always loved sweets, but finding something both delicious and nourishing that fit my new (gluten-free) dietary needs was a challenge. So, I started experimenting in my own kitchen.

Then something funny happened. Every time I made a batch, they disappeared almost instantly. My kids, who can eat regular cookies anytime, kept devouring them. That was my first sign that maybe I was onto something.

A Family-Fueled Inspiration

My older son, who’s passionate about health and nutrition (and is soon joining the IDF), was especially interested in how these cookies could fuel the body in a natural, wholesome way. We discussed the ingredients, the benefits, and how simple yet good they are. That got me thinking—maybe there’s something here beyond my own kitchen.

Finding Focus and Growing a Business

What started as a personal experiment is now growing into something real. With the help of my business coach (who’s also an accountant!), I’ve been learning how to stay focused, confident, and take the right steps to build something sustainable.

She told me last time we met that she could see a shift in me—that I looked more alive now that I have a clear focus. And honestly, I feel it. There’s something powerful about taking an idea and turning it into action.

Testing the Market

To make sure I wasn’t just biased toward my own baking, I brought the cookies to a gym owner and fitness trainer for feedback. They tried them, loved them, and gave great input about ingredients that help during both cardio and strength training. They said the snacks they buy are mass produced and don’t taste very good. Their response reinforced what I was starting to realize: these cookies weren’t just for me—others wanted them too.

The Meaning Behind the Name

And so, SoulBites was born. The name came from the idea that food isn’t just about eating—it’s about connection, intention, and feeling good from the inside out. Every bite should nourish not just the body but also the soul.

Made with simple, wholesome ingredients like oats, bananas, and dates for natural energy, they can also be customized with peanut butter, walnuts, chia seeds, raisins, and dark chocolate for an extra boost.
