Igniting Creativity: Journalism and Writing Programs to Empower Girls and Women

Writing has a unique power to transform, connect, and inspire. Through words, we can share our deepest truths, shape ideas, and give voice to the unspoken. It’s not just a skill—it’s a means of self-expression and a way to make sense of the world around us.

As the Tanach beautifully says, “The soul of a person is the lamp of God, searching all the innermost parts” (Proverbs 20:27). Writing lights up these hidden places, helping us uncover who we are and how we can contribute to the world.

Our Journalism and Writing Programs are designed to harness this power, giving girls and women the tools they need to express themselves confidently, creatively, and meaningfully. Whether you’re a young girl dreaming of publishing your first article or a woman ready to explore your story, these programs offer a supportive space to grow and thrive.

Finding My Voice: A Writer’s Journey

By Mindy Morasha Rubenstein I began this journey as a writer before I knew exactly what I was writing about. I was the “lost child” in my family, growing up in chaos, and I didn’t know how to rescue others — but I did know I had a voice. I would later discover that writing…

The Hidden Abuse No One Talks About

I don’t have any bruises or scars, so you’d never know. What actually constitutes emotional or financial abuse can be so subtle. For nearly three decades, I’ve lived in a nearly constant state of confusion, moving between being triggered by emotional abandonment and wondering if I was the one who was crazy. Maybe at times…
