Journey of Faith & Resilience

By Mindy Rubenstein

In this week’s parsha, Lech Lecha, Hashem calls Avraham and Sarah to leave behind their birthplace and everything familiar, setting out on a journey of faith and growth.

This story resonates deeply for me, as I made aliyah two years ago with Daniel Rubenstein, and we embraced our own new path here in Israel.

Doing abstract art and journaling help soothe my soul. And I’m passionate about sharing this experience with others.

I offer private lessons in art and writing, providing a warm, supportive space for women and children to explore their creativity and self-expression during these otherwise stressful times.

Just as Sarah found resilience and purpose in her journey, these lessons offer a nurturing environment to uncover new strengths and creative insights.

Sessions are available in person in Zichron Yaakov or online. Reach out to schedule your own creative journey.

The Hidden Abuse No One Talks About

I don’t have any bruises or scars, so you’d never know. What actually constitutes emotional or financial abuse can be so subtle. For nearly three decades, I’ve lived in a nearly constant state of confusion, moving between being triggered by emotional abandonment and wondering if I was the one who was crazy. Maybe at times…
