We don’t have to suffer alone.

I’m a Jewess, and I made Aliyah.

As much as I choose to focus on the good, I also acknowledge that it’s really hard.

Advocating for my children, and acclimating to this totally new life—it’s a deeply challenging and rewarding investment.

We may feel confused, distracted, overwhelmed, or deeply sad.

Maybe more irritable and tense, especially the last five months.

These are natural responses to living through war (the longest war in the history of Israel).

As difficult emotions show up, pause…

Notice them and validate them.

Above all, be compassionate with yourself.

If, like me, you experience feelings of anxiety, loneliness, or overwhelm—you are not alone.

Here’s what we can do:

  1. Drink water or tea
  2. Focus on simply breathing for two minutes
  3. Stretch your body
  4. Talk to someone about it

We don’t have to suffer alone.

May Hashem show us all grace, compassion, and a little nod from behind the curtain.

With love, from the Land of Israel ❤️🇮🇱

“When I am in distress, I call upon the Lord; yes, I cry out to my G-d…He hears my voice.” (Tehillim 18:7)
