There was so much that went into making Aliyah as a family.
It literally felt impossible sometimes, like there was a mountain blocking my view, and I couldn’t imagine being on the other side of it.

So when it would start to feel overwhelming, I’d say to myself and others, ‘we are just doing one task at a time.’ One NBN document, one phone call, one email.
Thinking back on it now, I know we were lovingly guided by the hand of Hashem and His representatives each step of the way.

I spoke with people throughout Israel, gathering as much first-hand information and research as possible, including making spreadsheets, and then prayed for help making the best decisions possible.
That we are actually here now literally feels like a miracle, and I am so grateful.
And that’s why, with G-d’s help–and guidance from a consultant–I have set up a program helping other women who are new Olim or making Aliyah.
It’s a match-making system of female volunteers who are experts in certain areas, supporting women navigating life in Israel or trying to come here.
Women can be both volunteers and recipients–giving, receiving, networking and connecting.
I spoke with a woman this morning in Jerusalem, a longtime Oleh from England, who is an expert helping families set up and organize their homes. She wants to volunteer her services, and she’s looking for some guidance in other areas.
Another woman from South Africa lives in Tel Aviv and is looking for her bashert.
A coach who made Aliyah from the U.S. and specializes in budgeting reached out volunteering her services.
Other brave women from around the world have contacted me saying they want to make Aliyah, but they need encouragement and support.
Some women have asked about schools for their kids, others about jobs or housing.
I am in the process of collecting resumes and profiles. In the meantime, I’m providing guidance and referrals as best as I can. Let me know what you need or what you can offer.
After centuries of exile and wandering, we are all coming back to our Promised Land. And it’s so comforting to know, even if it seems challenging at times, we are never alone.
“It is a Land that the Lord your G-d seeks out; the eyes of the Lord your G-d, are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. Deuteronomy – Devarim (11:12)
