I love being “in the land” — or b’eretz as we say in Hebrew.
Eight months ago Daniel Rubenstein and I made Aliyah with our children—from Florida to the Holy Land.
Now I work as a writer with Israel365.
Growing up I knew very little about being Jewish, and even less about Israel.
Over the past 16 years, after discovering my precious spiritual Jewish inheritance, I embarked on a journey.
It has taken me inside myself, learning to understand my mind and soul.
And it has taken me within the words of Torah.
And now I’m here, living inside this special place.
My first time being in Israel, September 7, 2022, was the day I made Aliyah.
That’s the day I left the world outside the land, b’chutz l’eretz, and came home—physically and spiritually.
Being here in this beautifully enchanted place, I try to take nothing for granted.
Seen and unseen enemies surround us.
But I’m being protected, always. By brave humans, and by my loving God.
I’m so grateful to be living here—with purpose, peace and love—in our Holy Land.
