“Such a profoundly moving article… when you write I can feel the words… thank you.”
—
I’ve been baring my struggling soul for two decades.
So when I get comments like this, it’s a reminder to keep going.
As a columnist and journalist, I feel things deeply and write from my heart.
And it became my mission and passion to help others share their stories. Especially those who are brave enough to face their struggles.
I illuminate the way for them to tell their stories by sharing mine.
There’s so much comfort in knowing we aren’t alone. That another human resonates with our thoughts and feelings.
Getting this comment today inspired me to start re-reading others that have been posted on my columns and articles over the years.
I realized this is my thing, thank G-d. Writing that stirs hearts and souls to action. Writing that offers some comfort.
Soon after receiving that comment, someone else reached out to me about helping to write her organization’s story. She specifically said that my writing is full of feeling, and that’s what she needs.
It’s perfectly aligned with my values and the topics I love to write about.
During my career I did a stint of IT writing, but G-d had a way of showing me that was not the best fit for me.
So I stick to what lights up my soul—the people and land of Israel, Torah and spirituality, and mental health.
Because it’s in those realms that I feel Divinely energized, and that passion comes through each word.
I’m so grateful for this mission, and for the clarity and strength to be able to do what I love while living in Eretz Yisrael.
